AWAKEN
Past Memories
Not what it was
Relieve,
Frustration,
Sharp,
Loss.
An agent provocateur they called,
How could otherwise?
The approaching was painful
But real.
It was no more an unethical decision,
And God knew that.
It was a symbol from another time.

ME!
Wondering between
The physical pain of being me
Or suffering emotionally for the one I had to be.
I rather die feeling whole
Than live a life
Playing a role.

MILITARY COUP
There comes the squad,
Marching; Marching; Marching;
No one runs away.
Bodies on the floor,
Blood on the walls,
The screams flowing through the air.
As they get closer,
I see,
This is the end for me.
I try not to be sad,
From life, we only take love
And the memories that made us happy.
Closer, Closer, Closer,
I thank,
I sing,
But from the salt tears on my face;
I sink in fear;
Knowing that my end is right here.
- From a Whisperer of another time.
À Beira do Lago
Sentada, assisto ao entardecer.
A brisa vinda do lago
Refresca minha pele,
Com um toque suave
Move meu cabelo,
Fazendo-me lembrar
Que somos livres para dançar.
À beira do lago, observo o tempo passar
E, com ele, as pessoas a andar.
Sentada à beira do lago,
Comecei a me questionar:
Qual o propósito de estarmos aqui?
Os Passaros,
A risada daqueles que por ali passavam,
Crianças brincando, adultos se cortejando,
O sol, a minha pele beijando.
Ah, mas será que isso é mesmo um mistério?
